Another plus with the 2.4 GHz controller is you no longer need the long whip style antenna. The older styles 25 MHz to 75 MHz controllers had the possibility there maybe someone else in the area using the same frequency you are. If someone was running the same frequency as you there would be many control problems. The 25 MHz up to the 75 MHz are a much lower radio frequency then the 2.4GHz. This means the lower frequencies are limited to fewer channels. When using the 2.4 GHz you will have a high frequency controller with more channels. When using this control unit you are going to find directional controls as well as adjustable options for the speed of your radio controlled boats easier to adjust.When you get your new boat with the 2.4 GHz controller you would be well advised to take this controller out with your RC boat to a safe area.
